With the number of colleges and universities located along the TechBelt, research is a main focus of our engagement initiatives. We assist in helping align industry problems with research solutions in an effort to speed the commercialization process, as well as find applicable solutions to real-world problems. Here's how we can help...
The TechBelt Research Collaborative provides a forum for industry and researchers to collaborate and build a relationship. Naturally there will be concerns around IP and proprietary information. The idea behind the Research Collaborative is simply to be the "online handshake" to begin the collaboration process.
We welcome researchers to post information on projects being conducted surrounding the topic areas of energy, life sciences, technology and transportation. Even remote technological applications are welcomed, as the hope is to find a commercial outlet for existing R&D projects. Researchers can either post their research, or scan/monitor private industry issues for potential commercial application for their research using the TechBelt Collaborative.
For Private Industry
Private industry located within the TechBelt, particularly those businesses focused on the areas of energy, life sciences, technology and transportation, are invited to post problems they may be having in their respective business to try to attract research interest. Private companies can post issues they are having within their industry or scan research being conducted within the TechBelt for potential commercial application using the TechBelt Collaborative.
